What are the ACT and SAT for?
Standardized testing is a way for colleges to understand your education level and your ability to succeed within their curriculum. With grade inflation being common across the U.S. and no one standard being enforced, standardized testing is a tool to keep scores consistent not just between states, but between years. Your score could be the key difference between getting into a school and being rejected.
